Research that powers the system

These notes connect space physics and published experiments to the hardware questions Ground Blue analyzes, the outputs it produces, and the tests that can check them.

A glass research chamber containing a miniature Earth and a satellite in low Earth orbit

Research Base

Short, sourced records for physical effects that change how hardware behaves in low Earth orbit.

Why it matters

Without buoyancy, phase position and flow regime depend more on surface tension, wetting, geometry, and imposed flow. A pump can ingest gas even when the same layout remains primed on Earth.

Components

  • Propellant tanks
  • Fluid lines
  • Pumps
  • Condensers
